The Strassebahn comes to Northern Virginia

Funding to build a light rail streetcar that is similar to Germany's Strassebahn has been approved. The streetcar will connect Pentagon City in Arlington County to the Skyline area in Fairfax County. It will run along Columbia Pike sharing the road with cars.

It's about time the US caught up with Europe.
