My divorce became final today. I'm no longer in marital limbo. Divorces are supposed to be sad occasions. But I am not sad today. I am glad that I am no longer in a fraudulent marriage. I am happy that the divorce happened without incident.

The latest battle in the war on Christmas

This man crucified Santa Claus. He says he was making a statement about the commercialization of Christmas, not realizing that Christmas has become a secular holiday. Considering that Christmas was a pagan holiday in the first place. I don't understand why people get so angry about it. So, in order to make a statement (about what?), he has traumatized children. Or maybe he thinks Saint Nicolas is the equal of Jesus Christ. I guess he doesn't like kids.

My life lately

From icanhascheezburger.com Sorry I have not been keeping up with the blogging lately. I was supposed to go back to Iraq in October, but my trip has been postponed for medical reasons. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon and it's nothing serious.

So, in the meantime, I get to sit through powerpoint presentations while my life is in a holding pattern.
